The 90 Day Fiancé family is growing! Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trublinka are expecting their first child, they announced Tuesday.
Brandon and Julia from ‘90 Day Fiancé’ share their ‘big news’
“We have big news,” Julia, 31, said in a video the couple shared on Instagram. “We are pregnant!”
“And it is exciting, and it’s a little scary,” Brandon, 31, said. “But we can’t wait to share the next chapter of our journey with you guys.”
“Thank you so much for all of your love and support,” Julia added.
Brandon, who is from Virginia, married Julia, who is from Russia, in April 2020. They appeared in season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé, as well as 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 6 and 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2. Currently, they’re starring in season 8 of Happily Ever After?
After enduring some ups and downs in their relationship, including conflict with Brandon’s parents, both Brandon and Julia say they’re excited to embark on the next chapter of their lives.
“Can’t believe I’m sharing this news,” Brandon wrote in another post, where he shared portraits of himself and Julia. “I am excited but nervous as I want to be the best Dad I can be.”
“There is so much to say, I will start with this, it is not usual for me and it is very strange to talk about this, but I have to start,” Julia captioned a photo of her and Brandon showing off their ultrasound images alongside their dog, Nalla.
Julia opened up about fertility issues on ‘90 Day Fiancé’
Brandon and Julia have opened up about their fertility struggles in their recent appearance on The Last Resort and Happily Ever After?
In The Last Resort, Julia revealed that a Russian doctor told her she was unlikely to be able to get pregnant.
“I can’t have kids,” an emotional Julia said. “Two years ago, I go [to] Russia because we [were] talking about to have a kids, and I go into doctor’s and I take whole fertility test, and they say I can’t have kids because of inside my body. But Brandon trying to tell I can get second opinion in America.”
Julia explained that she was reluctant to visit another doctor because she was afraid she would gain hear bad news. But on this season of Happily Ever After? she agreed to see a specialist in the U.S. for fertility testing, who told her she had uterine polyps that could make it difficult to conceive.
Julia elaborated on her health challenges in an August 3 Instagram update. she said that she had “thyroid problems,” as well as issues with irregular periods and cystitis, but that she was seeing doctors and hoping to get some answers.
“For us this season is really up and down,” she wrote. “But it’s good to have friends and your guys support.”
