A Queensland man with alleged links to the Bandidos has been charged with 28 additional domestic violence offences, just two months after being charged with 12 similar offences.

The 33-year-old from North Lakes, about 34km north of Brisbane, was charged on August 20 with with 18 counts of rape, two counts of choking, and one count each of coercive control and exposing a child, common assault, torture, unlawful stalking, intimidation, harassing or abuse, acts intended to transmit serious disease, sexual assault, assault occasioning bodily harm and deprivation of liberty.

Of these charges, 24 relate to alleged actions against one woman, with four other charges relating to a woman involved in the previous 12 charges.

Police say the woman was previously known to the man and reported the alleged incidents after the June arrest.

The charges police had already placed on the man are two counts of grievous bodily harm and common assault, and one count each of deprivation of liberty, rape, strangulation, going armed as to cause fear, threatening violence – discharge of firearms, threatening violence, unlawful stalking, and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

Police believe there may be more alleged victims and encourage anyone with information to come forward to the Serious Crime Investigation Team.

“We are urging anyone who may have been a victim of this man to contact police,” Detective Inspector Phil Hurst said.

“SCIT detectives appreciate the sensitivity and significance of reporting sexual and domestic violence, so please be assured that we’ll treat you and your story with respect.

“There are multiple ways to report what has happened, depending on your situation.”

The man remains in custody and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 30.
