My Life with the Walter Boys , Melanie Halsall’s Netflix drama inspired by Ali Novak’s novels, ended its sophomore season with a touching tribute card honoring the late Todd Giroux.

When My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2, Episode 10, “Showdowns and Sparkles,” wrapped and Sam Smith’s emotional “Fire on Fire” started to play, the end credits kicked off with tribute card that read: “In memory of Todd Giroux.”

Those familiar with series like Warrior Nun, The Order, The Imperfects, and Animal Control may have recognized Giroux’s name from past credits. But for those unfamiliar with his work, Giroux was a talented producer, supervisor, and collaborator in the entertainment industry who helped bring dozens of television shows and movies to life behind the camera.

He worked on major productions for Netflix, Showcase, and Amazon… Todd will be remembered for his warmth, creativity, dry wit, and his unwavering love for family, animals, the many students, coworkers, and friends whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered always.”

Giroux’s legacy will live on through all the shows and films he helped create, the many lives he touched, and now, through My Life with the Walter Boy and its Season 2 tribute.
