() Bones were found at the campground where Travis Decker allegedly killed his three daughters.

FBI agents found the bones as they revisited the campground this week to look for any additional evidence that could lead them to Decker, who has been on the run since June 2.

Decker is accused of killing his three daughters 9-year-old Paityn, 8-year-old Evelyn and 5-year-old Olivia at the Rock Island Campground in Chelan County, Washington, during a planned visitation.

Law enforcement say they’re not sure whether Decker is alive or dead as the search for him stretches into a third month.

New search at campground where girls were killed

The FBI said Thursday that it completed a two-day search of the area where the girls’ bodies were found.

In addition the bones, 100 law enforcement officers searching the area also found other items that are being examined to determine if they’re related to the girls’ deaths, the FBI said.

Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison told local media that the bones were not a complete skeleton, and it’s not yet known if they’re from a human or animal.

The bones were sent to Central Washington University’s anthropology department to be tested to determine their origin.

“More than 100 personnel were deployed in multiple search teams for a full two days in remote outdoor terrain while daylight was available,” W. Mike Herrington, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Seattle field office, said.

“Temperatures approached 100 degrees. Despite the dense vegetation and challenging topography, personnel from the FBI Seattle field office, with the support of FBI headquarters and partner agencies, thoroughly searched and documented over 1,000,000 square meters, or 247 acres.”
