Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe have become some of the most popular players in tennis today.
Tiafoe is the first Sierra Leonean-American man to be ranked in the Top 10 by the ATP and won his first of three ATP titles in 2018, becoming the youngest American man to win a tournament on the ATP Tour since Andy Roddick in 2002.
Meanwhile, Fritz has won 10 ATP Tour singles titles and contested the finals at the 2024 US Open, making him the No. 1 American player in men’s singles.

Tiafoe was born on Jan. 20, 1998, in Hyattsville, Maryland, to Sierra Leonean immigrants who fled their country to escape the civil war in the ’90s. Tiafoe has one brother, a twin named Franklin.
The tennis player turned pro and gained international fame during the 2022 US Open after he defeated 22-time grand slam champion Rafael Nadal to reach the quarterfinals.
Tiafoe has reached the US Open semifinals twice and in an interview with Sports Illustrated, shared his thoughts prior to playing in the 2025 Open: “Just getting out there. Fritz was born in Rancho Santa Fe, California, to parents Kathy May and Guy Fritz on Oct. 28, 1997, making him just a few months older than Tiafoe. His mother and father played professional tennis as well. Kathy was a Top 10 player on the WTA Tour in the 1970s, and Guy coached tennis after he retired from the sport.
Fritz started playing tennis in his early teens. He turned professional in 2015, captured his first ATP title at Eastbourne in 2019, and has been one of the most consistent performers on the ATP Tour in recent years, earning millions in prize money.
The athlete has also raked in plenty of cash from his endorsements and partnerships with the brands Hugo Boss, Rolex, and the Austrian sports equipment company Head. In addition, he has a deal with the restaurant chain Chipotle, which for years has been his go-to spot for post-workout meals.
