Freddie Mercury 'absolutely terrified' after school sexual abuse horror

A new book by biographer Lesley-Ann Jones claims that Queen frontman Freddie Mercury was the victim of sexual abuse while at boarding school.  The iconic star died in November 1991 at the age of 45 and was believed to be childless. However in recent months the world was stunned when news broke that he seemingly had a secret child who has spoken to the author for the upcoming tome Love, Freddie: Freddie Mercury’s Secret Life and Love. The woman, known only as B, has provided diaries and notebooks which she says were written by the star and presented to her shortly before his death and in them he seemingly reveals the traumatic experiences he suffered while a schoolboy.

In 1954, at the age of eight, Freddie’s parents sent him to study at St. Peter’s School, a British-style boarding school for boys, in Panchgani near Bombay where, by all accounts he excelled until the age of 14. The sudden shift in his academic accomplishments is apparently addressed in his diaries where he details horrific sexual abuse at the hands of one of the masters. “After having caught him during a collective self-pleasuring session with a group of other boys, one of the schoolmasters started taking [14-year-old] Freddie into his quarters to sexually abuse him,” Lesley-Ann revealed.

Claiming the teenager didn’t respond as he was “paralysed” she says Freddie wondered if his abuser took that as “consent”.

“The teacher forced him to bend over. The next step was very painful. Freddie was horrified, and absolutely terrified,” she wrote in MailOnline.

“His abuser was hasty. He did what he had come to do then left him without a word, showing no concern whatsoever for the boy or his feelings. The abuse went on for many months, all the way to the end of that school year, when the master abruptly left the school.”

She goes on to describe how bullying of the teenager intensified follwing the incidents as “everyone else there knew about it”.

Lesley-Ann’s upboming book details Freddie’s relationship with a woman who claims to be his daughter, whose existence was unknown until recently. The iconic Queen frontman seemingly documented his life for the woman, known only as B, in a series of journals.

Her full identity remains unknown, and speaking on GB News on Saturday August 30, Lesley-Ann explained part of the reason is that the treasured writings, which contain the abuse allegations, may not actually belong to her. However B has told the writer she will “burn” them rather than let anyone else get their hands on them.

“For various reasons, there are some legal reasons…It’s not entirely certain that she owns the notebooks because of clauses in his will. So she cannot go public, because she will then be found and challenged for the notebooks, and they are her most precious, treasured possession.

“She never will part with them. She said, I’ll burn them rather than let anybody else have them,” she explained.
