CHICAGO (WLS) — Although we don’t want to let go of summer, here are some fun fall activities to look forward to this 2025 season in the Chicago area.

Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up

When: Sept. 18- Nov. 2
Where: 1265 West Le Moyne St., Chicago, IL 60642
What: Carnival games, seasonal cocktails, axe throwing, corn maze, and more!
Cost: Prices for the 2025 season have not been released. However, kids aged 4 and younger are free with a paid adult.

Night of 1,000 Jack-o’-Lanterns at Chicago Botanic Garden

When: Wednesday through Sundays starting Oct. 8 through 26.
Where: 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, IL 60022
What: Walk through glowing pumpkin tributes to Chicago sports teams, plant monsters, famous vampires, and more!
Cost: Tickets start at $22 for members and $25 for non-members; kids aged 2 and under are free.

Tobie Family Farm in Grayslake

When: Saturday, Sept. 13 though Oct. 31.
Where: 22070 W Peterson Road Grayslake, IL 60030
What: Pumpkin patch, hayrides, a big corn maze, bounce house, and more!
Cost: An adult ticket costs $7, tickets for children aged 3 to 12 costs $6, kids 2 and under are free.

Goebbert’s Farm’s Fall Festival

When: Sept. 6 through Oct. 31.
Where: 40 W Higgins Road, South Barrington, IL 60010
What: Features a giraffe barn, magic show, ducky derby, corn stalk maze, wagon rides, and more!
Cost: Tickets start at $19; kids aged 2 and under are free.

Johnson’s Farm Produce’s Pumpkin Festival

When: Sept. 27 through Oct. 26.
Where: 8960 East Ridge Road. Hobart, Indiana 46342
What: Pumpkin picking, corn mazes, apple-cannon shooting and more!
Cost: Tickets start at $15.

Brookfield Zoo Chicago

When: Multiple fall events from September through November.
Where: 8400 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513
What: Oktoberfest, Boot! at the Zoo, Boo! Brunch, Zoo After Dark: BOOs & Brews, Community Ofrenda for Día de los Muertos.
Cost: Most events are free with a general admission ticket, which start at $29.95.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

When: Oct. 3 through Nov. 2.
Where: YMCA Camp Duncan, 32405 N. US Hwy. 12, Ingleside
What: Outdoor trail inspired by the Forbidden Forest from the “Harry Potter” movie saga.
Cost: Tickets start $44 for adults and $31 for children.

Six Flags Fright Fest 2025

Cost: Haunted attraction passes start at $40 a person, it does not include park admission.
