Daytime television has been missing The View‘s heated debates and hot takes, but the ABC talk show will be back with new episodes sooner than you think.

The View has been on its annual summer hiatus for the last few weeks which means fans have only had re-runs to hold them over until co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines return to ABC with brand new episodes.

From what we know so far, Season 29 will be kicking off with a star-studded lineup. But the show isn’t only known for its celebrity interviews. The co-hosts will surely return ready to dole out hot takes and controversial opinions, whether it be about Gen Z or President Trump. Navarro certainly hasn’t let up from voicing her opinion on social media throughout the hiatus; she recently implored “I Will Survive” singer Gloria Gaynor to turn down Trump’s invitation to receive the Kennedy Center Honor, in addition to criticizing Trump’s immigration policies.

But the ladies of The View will soon be back on ABC for another season of heated debates and celebrity interviews. Here is everything we know so far about when The View will return with new episodes.
