The SolFood Kitchen to close Sept. 26

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The SolFood Kitchen, a health and wellness restaurant in Augusta, will close its doors this month after five years in business.

In an announcement posted to Facebook and Instagram, The SolFood Kitchen thanked the community for the support it has shown over the years.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share SolFood Kitchen’s last day of operation will be Friday, September 26th,” the statement reads in part. “Over the past five years, we have weathered a pandemic, a hurricane, and personal hardships, including almost losing our mother this past year. Through it all, you—our staff, family, friends, and community—have lifted us up and supported us every step of the way.”

The SolFood Kitchen is inviting the community take the opportunity to enjoy a meal with the restaurant in the coming weeks before it closes.
