SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Savannah Christian football has remained undefeated through its first three games, headlined by an explosive offensive.

That side of the ball has been led by new offensive coordinator and former Savannah Christian quarterback Russel DeMasi.

Through three games under DeMasi, the Raider offense has averaged an impressive 29.3 points per game.

Senior quarterback Blaise Thomas has also had a great start in his senior season with his new offensive coordinator. Thomas has racked up 724 total yards of offense so far this season.

Coach DeMasi said Thomas has been extremely acceptive of his new offensive scheme, one that is similar to Raider offenses in the past.

“After the play sometimes he’s telling me what he did wrong before I tell him,” said DeMasi. “He knows when he makes a mistake, he has to fix it to make the offense the best it can be.”

Thomas said Coach DeMasi has helped him take a big step forward in his game.

“He’s really helped me with the reads,” said Thomas “He breaks down the defensive and makes me understand it a lot more.”

Savannah Christian’s next game will be away at Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
