Ice-T’s wife, Coco Austin, shared a photo of their daughter, Chanel, on her first day of fourth grade, stunning fans who couldn’t believe how fast she’s grown up. 

The 46-year-old model — who recently debuted nine-year-old Chanel’s blue hair— wrote in a caption to her three million followers, ‘First days of school are always sweet and bitter for me.. I hate to see her go but love to see her excited about school and to see her friends.’

She sentimentally added, ‘I hate to admit this but I’m jealous of school sometimes because they spend more time with her than me during the year.’

Ending on a positive note, Coco said, ‘But I’m proud of the little human she has become.’

The youngster posed in an orange and pink outfit while holding a yellow sign reading: ‘My First Day of 4th Grade!’ She showed off her newly-dyed curly hair as she posed in white sneakers and a backpack.

‘How is she already in the 4th grade? They grow up too fast,’ one fan questioned.

Chanel received a visit from her older brother in honor of her special day.

Ice-T’s 33-year-old son Ice Marrow appeared in a joint Instagram post with his little sister, also shared on Thursday. 

In addition to Ice and Chanel, the 67-year-old Law & Order: SVU fixture is also dad to 49-year-old daughter Letesha Marrow.

Ice captioned the post, ‘Made it to New Jersey just in time to see my lil sister start her first day of 4th Grade in her new school….’

The proud sibling added, ‘#IdDoAnythingJustToseeHerSmile #TheMarrowLegacy #MyHeart.’ 

Chanel, who has a personal Instagram account, previously shared a photo from her final day of third grade in early June.

She captioned the post, ‘I did it!! I completed 3rd grade!!

‘Thanks to all my teachers for being so sweet and awesome!! I was super sad on the last day and cried because I will miss everybody.’

Ice-T and Coco are often on the receiving end of criticism due to their parenting style — which has included breastfeeding Chanel until age five, bathing her in the kitchen sink, and letting her twerk in home videos.

But the actor has defended their choices, chalking it up to their unusual lifestyle.

He told People in 2023, ‘I think the thing of it is, it’s Ice-T and Coco. Our parenting is a lot different than the normal, square couple from Oklahoma. I’m a f***ing rock star — it’s different.’

He also explained why Chanel regularly appears in social media content shared by him and his wife.

‘It’s fun and [Chanel] likes doing it. If she didn’t, we definitely wouldn’t do it,’ he noted.

Adding more context, the entertainer shared: ‘When Chanel was born, we got her social media because we knew that we were gonna be the parents that were gonna show a hundred pictures of their kid because we were proud.’
