Fans of the Paramount+ drama Landman went wild over the season two trailer on Thursday.

Demi Moore, 62, stunned in character as oil executive Cami Miller, with the teaser showing her in a more prominent role than previously seen.

Fans were let down by the limited screen time of the Golden Globe winner in the first season of the show, crafted by Yellowstone’s creator, Taylor Sheridan.

However, after the demise of Cami’s husband Monty Miller (portrayed by Jon Hamm) in the finale, she takes a leading role, forming a partnership with Tommy Norris (played by Billy Bob Thornton) to head M*Tex Oil.

“We love Landman!” a viewer wrote in the comments of Paramount+’s Instagram post. “What puzzles us is why Demi Moore received top billing in the first season when she had so few scenes and lines.”

Someone else added, ‘So glad Demi’s role in this season seems to be more center stage.’

The fan went on to praise the actress, noting, ‘I remember being disappointed in the first season and basically having her as a background character.’

‘Either the writers were planning this for season 2 or they listened to the critics and the audience that we want Demi’s character to have more of a presence this season,’ the person surmised.

The social media user, posting under the handle @mateobernabefierros, continued, ‘If so, I’m glad they listened, especially since she’s a legend, icon, and a great actress. Plus, after her huge comeback from last year, they needed to give her more.’

Fashion stylist to the stars Maeve Reilly said, ‘Demi!!!! I’m so excited for this!!’

And another excited viewer predicted that Demi could be on her way to an Emmy nod.

‘Yesss more Demi Moore. It’s looking like an Emmy nomination 2026,’ the fan wrote alongside a string of flame emojis.

The hit series takes place in West Texas and features fortune-hungry billionaires looking to expand their riches in the business of oil rigs.

It’s based on Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly’s popular 11-part podcast Boomtown.

Season two will return on November 16, with 49-year-old Ali Larter reprising her role as Angela Norris, the sex-crazed ex-wife of Billy Bob’s Tommy Norris.

Fans were also delighted to see Sam Elliott, 81, join the cast in a significant amount of the trailer.

Paramount+’s Instagram caption on Thursday read, ‘“It’s about to come to a head.” #Landman returns November 16th, only on @Paramountplus. #LandmanPPlus #ParamountPlus.’

The streamer renewed the series in March, with production kicking off in April.

In an interview with Good Morning America last year, Ali talked about her role in the oil boom show.

‘I get to work with an incredible cast and the entire crew is so gifted and talented that I just feel like I’m playing at the top of the game and so that’s really exciting,’ she gushed.

‘And now to see the fans really love these characters and love the story that’s unfolding is very exciting, because you never know when you’re making something if it’s gonna connect with an audience and this show obviously has,’ she added.

She also praised the show’s creator Taylor: ‘I just think he’s an incredible storyteller and he loves to write these dynamic women and that’s very, very fun to play.’
