Hulu’s latest reality TV show is being called the next generation of The Kardashians. Love Thy Nader follows four sisters, spearheaded by eldest sibling Brooks Nader, as they try to hack it as supermodels in New York City.

In the first episode of the season, we get a deep look into Brooks’ personal life, starting with her dramatic relationship with Dancing With The Stars pro Gleb Savchenko. Before that, however, Brooks was once married to her childhood sweetheart. So who, exactly, is her former spouse?

Brooks Was Previously Married To Billy Haire

In the opening of the season, Brooks gives the viewer a quick rundown of their childhood. The family of six grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and struggled financially. She described that she and her three siblings shared one bedroom, and that instead of a life of glamour, they were “mud pit kids” who rolled around in the dirt outside.

From an early age, however, Brooks was captivated by supermodels, and she decided that her dream would be to one day become one of her own. Her own ambitions clashed with her parents’ expectations for her, which were to get married and have kids at a young age. Brooks did, however, get married at a fairly young age.

Brooks met Billy Haire in New York in 2015. At the time, she was trying to get into a bar underage, but her fake was denied. Billy apparently saw the scene unfold, and that’s how the two first connected. The model previously told Sports Illustrated (while they were still married) that she got sick in the bathroom on their first date, and that Billy assumed she wasn’t interested in him.

Brooks explained that the waitress didn’t exactly help the situation. “[She told him] ‘Your date’s in the bathroom having a really rough time.’ Didn’t specify throw up or what it was. Then I sprinted out of the date, and he thought that I just didn’t like him, and that was my way of getting out of it.” She later clarified with the outlet that she did indeed like him:

“There were many dates after that—he was totally hooked after I sprinted out throwing up,” she added. Brooks and Billy got married in 2019 when she was 22-years-old and he was 33-years-old. In the end, though, the pair parted ways after almost ten years together, officially divorcing in 2024.

Brooks Career Took Center Stage

Representatives for Brooks noted that her split from Billy was amicable. Last year, People issued a statement from Brooks’ team noting that, given the busyness of her schedule, it had left little time to commit to her marriage:

Billy also has a thriving career of his own. He currently works at the company Minute Media as their VP of Sales and Partnerships, where he’s been employed since 2024. On the side, he also works as a real estate investor and advisor, with more than enough to keep his plate full.

For Billy’s part, it seems like he’s moved on with a new relationship—and with another woman who’s also in the spotlight. On his personal social media accounts, he’s since revealed that he’s dating Naomie Olindo, a cast member from Southern Charm. The pair officially debuted their relationship earlier this year, each posting images together on their respective Instagram accounts.

Brooks has arguably been less successful in the relationship department since her divorce. She had a tumultuous romance with her Dancing With The Stars partner, Gleb Savchenko, which came crashing down when Brooks discovered his infidelity.

In the meantime, Brooks continues to build her modeling empire, part of which is bringing her three younger sisters along with her. “I’m trying to be a role model to them, they’re all models as well, so I gave them a little something to put on their wishlist,” she explained.
