PALMETTO, Fla. (WFLA) — Multiple people in areas throughout Manatee County caught a glimpse of a waterspout just as the sun was setting Friday evening.

The waterspout formed as a round of thunderstorms moved through the area. Viewers began sending in photos and videos just before 8 p.m.
