Harry Styles' neighbours 'raise concerns' over £30M mega-mansion

Harry Styles’ neighbours have reportedly raised concerns about ongoing work at his huge £30million mega-mansion.

The singer, 31, has already started renovating his future home on the street in Hampstead, a project that won’t be completed until late 2027.

He is merging two luxurious properties on a private estate in north London into an astonishing residence featuring four bedrooms, a gym, a cinema, an art gallery, and living quarters for staff.

And this week it was reported he has snapped up another sprawling property in the same area – his fourth house on the same street.

But now some locals have told The Telegraph it is ‘sad living next to a building site all the time’.

A local resident mentioned to the publication: ‘It’s unfortunate living next to constant construction. This neighborhood wasn’t always like this. Now, millionaires continuously purchase and renovate the homes.’

‘There’s another house down at the bottom of the road, which I’m sure will be bought up and renovated like the others.

‘There’s also unfortunately less community among the neighbours than there was since people have moved on from the area.’

Though they have expressed worries, no new formal complaints have been filed regarding the property. The Daily Mail reached out to Harry’s representatives for a statement.

It comes after he reportedly snapped up another sprawling mansion in Hampstead, his fourth house on the same street.

Harry boasts an eye-popping net worth of £200million, which placed him firmly in first place on Heat Magazine’s 2024 Rich List.

Sources claim Harry may turn the London homes into an ‘enormous estate’ and serve as a guest house for friends to stay in.

A source told The Sun: ‘He has three houses on one road in Hampstead and now he has quietly bought another.

‘Two of the homes are being converted into one mega mansion, while the third sits a way away from them and is a bit of an investment property.

‘This fourth new pad could be part of the mega-mansion estate and will be connected to the two houses, which are being knocked through, by a drive and a massive garden. It’s incredible the work Harry is putting into making this dream home.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Harry Styles’s representatives for comment.

After months of wrangling with planning authorities, thanks to the area’s conservation rules, Harry got the green light to proceed renovating on the £30million property in April.

Last month, work was delayed due to further ecological surveys and meticulous construction plans. In this part of town, even the paint colour needs council sign-off.

New documents show his team of consultants is hard at work ticking boxes, including delicate negotiations over local wildlife.

One recent survey flagged a feral pigeon nest, fox holes and even bat activity. If bats are found, all work must stop while Harry applies for a special licence from Natural England.

He’s also had to co-ordinate with celebrity neighbour Cat Deeley, who is renovating a property nearby.

They have reportedly held meetings and distributed leaflets to ensure neighbours stay on-side and disruption is minimal.

One document states that they will ‘liaise with contractors completing work on other local sites with the aim of pro-actively managing the cumulative impacts of local construction projects’.

The document also promises to ‘co-ordinate activities whenever possible to minimise potential disruption to local residents’.

Noise is a major concern, and the singer has had to be mindful of the loud din made by building machinery. He’s had to fit ‘acoustic enclosures to suppress noisy equipment’.

Harry has also promised to use equipment with electric engines instead of petrol-driven ones.

The whole thing is due to be complete in October 2027… unless unforeseen problems mean the project heads in the wrong direction, that is.
