Christina Haack and Ant Anstead came together in honor of their son Hudson’s birthday.

“Hudzo explained it’s his ‘golden birthday’ as he’s 6 on the 6th! Legend!” Anstead captioned a joint Instagram post with Haack on Sunday, September 7. “Weekend celebrating our miracle boy with a CHAOS filled party we all gone need a lay down. Hudzo we love you.”

The post featured a picture of Anstead and Haack posing with Hudson at his birthday party. It also included multiple snaps from inside the celebration. In one pic, Hudson and his friends can be seen scooping candy from a piñata for their grab bags. Anstead shared a clip of Hudson taking the first swing at the colorful piñata, followed by his pals taking a crack at it. Haack was also seen holding up the piñata bat.

Hudson also posed for a photo with his soccer-themed cake. There was also an action shot of him running an obstacle course.

Haack found love with Anstead following her 2018 divorce from Tarek El Moussa. The pair got married that same year and welcomed Hudson in 2019. The following year, Haack and Anstead called it quits and finalized their divorce in 2021.

During a February episode of HGTV’s The Flip Off, Haack opened up about her dynamic with Anstead immediately following their split.

“Ant and I split up when Hudson was 1 and now he is 5. Between the time of his first birthday and fifth, we did not communicate a lot,” she explained.

However, after Haack split from her last husband, Joshua Hall, in 2024, Anstead gave her some much-needed support. (Haack married Hall in 2021 and the exes finalized their divorce in 2025. Anstead, for his part, has moved on with Renée Zellweger.)

“After Josh and I split up, I went over to his house to pick up Hudson and he gave me a huge hug. We hadn’t hugged in years and he said, ‘I am so sorry for everything you are going through and I am here for you no matter what you need,’” she said. “It was a very nice moment and we had a very long talk after. We decided to put all the BS aside and be good coparents.”

In addition to Hudson, both Haack and Anstead are also parents to children with other partners. Haack shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden with El Moussa. Ant, for his part, is father to daughter Amelie, 21, and son Archie, 18, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Louise Anstead.
