SAVANNAH, Ga. () – Good morning, StormTeam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley here – let’s have a fabulous Tuesday!

It might have started out cloudy this morning, but for most of the day we will enjoy more sunshine than what we saw yesterday. Our temperatures have been all over the place…91 degrees on Sunday to 76 degrees Monday. Due to the extra sunshine today, our high temperatures will be slightly warmer in the lower 80s. Still comfortable, still below average.

Due to a persistent northeast wind, high tide levels remain elevated over next few cycles. A Coastal Flood Advisory will go into effect at 9am for this morning’s high tide around 10 am. We are expecting major flooding, but water could increase in low-lying areas. The forecasted high tide level at the Fort Pulaski tide gage is 9.6′. This is just above minor flood stage.

No big changes with our weather pattern for tomorrow through the rest of the week. The breezy northeasterly wind will gradually relax with a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky each day. Temperatures remain seasonably comfortable and warm in the mid to upper 80s. Morning temperatures will continue to be cool in the lower 60s.
