Disney and Pixar’s animated space adventure ‘Elio’ stars Yonas Kibreab, Zoe Saldaña, Brad Garrett and more

LOS ANGELES — Disney and Pixar’s animated space adventure “Elio,” is set to land on Disney+ this month!

The film follows Elio Solis, a quirky kid obsessed with outer space who suddenly finds himself face-to-face with aliens. The twist? They think he’s Earth’s leader. What starts as a wild mistake turns into a cosmic adventure where Elio makes some unlikely friendships and discovers who he is.

“Elio,” combines humor, heart and adventure in a story designed for the entire family. The film also explores themes of connection, belonging and the wonders of discovery, both in the galaxy and at home.

Bringing the characters to life is an ensemble cast that includes Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as his aunt, plus Jameela Jamil, Brad Garrett, Young Dylan, Jake Getman, Matthias Schweighöfer, Ana de la Reguera, and Atsuko Okatsuka, all voicing interstellar personalities Elio meets along the way.

The latest addition to Disney and Pixar’s storytelling legacy, arrives exclusively on Disney+ September 17.
