Cameron Diaz looked every bit the doting parent while on a rare public outing with her eldest child this week.

The actress, 53, was spotted roaming around New York City on Wednesday with her five-year-old daughter Raddix Madden.

She kept Raddix close as the little girl rode beside her on a purple scooter with a hot pink helmet on her head.

Cameron had one hand on Raddix’s handlebars as the mother-daughter duo carefully crossed the street.

The actress from Charlie’s Angels dressed her daughter in a cute outfit for their afternoon outing, featuring bright pink leggings and a colorful, patterned dress.

Meanwhile, Cameron — who was seen with her baby soon earlier this year — kept it casual in a double denim outfit and white sneakers.

The Bad Teacher actress’ signature blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail and she wore glasses.

Cameron shares Raddix as well as one-year-old son Cardinal Madden with longtime husband Benij Madden, 46.

She and the hunky 46-year-old rocker wed back in January 2015 after less than a year of dating.

In 2014, Cameron decided to take a step back from her Hollywood acting career in order to focus on starting a family with Madden.

The couple welcomed daughter Raddix five years later on December 30, 2019.

Cameron and Benji surprised fans on March 22, 2024 when they announced the arrival of their son Cardinal, now one.

While she keeps much of her family life private, Cameron has remarked on her experience becoming a mom later in life and giving birth in her 40s.

‘When you’re my age and you decide to do it, it’s a real choice,’ the star told supermodel Naomi Campbell in 2020.

‘You really have to work hard for it. The only pressure for me is like I have to live to be, like 107, you know? So no pressure!’

That same year, Cameron called motherhood the ‘best part of [her] life.’

‘Being a mom is the most amazing part of my life. I’m incredibly thankful, overjoyed, and it’s the greatest experience. I’m so lucky to share this journey with Benji, and we are having such a wonderful time,’ she expressed to fans on social media in 2020.

Cameron added: ‘It’s so great. I’m just thrilled.’

As for Cameron’s marriage, Benji recently provided rare insight on their decade-long love story.

He mentioned this during a March 2025 appearance on Rob Lowe’s SiriusXM podcast, Literally!, alongside his twin brother Joel, 46, where they discussed insights into their marriages.

Benji and Joel, who is married to The Simple Life star Nicole Richie, 43, both admitted that they ‘fear’ their ‘strong’ wives.

Benji added that they fear their partners ‘in the best way.’

Calling both Cameron and Nicole ‘queens’, Benji stated, ‘Go against my wife? Good luck. I don’t even need to get involved.’

Back in January, Cameron received a loving tribute from Benji as the couple posed for a rare selfie to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.

The Mask actress cozied up next to the musician as he sweetly called her his ‘best friend.’

Madden uploaded a photo of both himself and Cameron as they took the snap outdoors.

She wrapped her right arm over his shoulders as the lovebirds flashed small smiles towards the camera.

‘This is my QUEEN ❤️ I celebrate this BAD A** WOMAN . Wife, Mommy, friend, partner, Boss, and lover,’ Benji penned in the caption.

‘We just hit 10 YEARS married on January 5th and every year only gets more fulfilling. It’s special.’

‘Never perfect – always real- always reliable. Every day getting to have my best friend with me ride or die….what a beautiful life- I am GRATEFUL!!!’

The Good Charlotte guitarist concluded with, ‘And ANOTHER MiLESTONE happening TOMORROW!!! We are SO happy to see you….BACK IN ACTION!!….Congrats baby!!❤️❤️❤️ @camerondiaz GO watch it on @netflix.’

After a decade-long acting hiatus, she returned to the spotlight in 2024 to star alongside Jamie Foxx in the Netflix action comedy, Back In Action, which was released in January 2025.

Diaz was enticed back to film by Foxx and while appearing on The Graham Norton Show earlier this year said: ‘I had 10 years of not paying attention to anything; not accepting any advances, and then I got this script and thought that maybe it was time.

‘If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment business.’

Expressing her gratitude to still work in the industry she added: ‘It is a privilege to make films, and we are all so lucky to do what we do. That the door was even open for me after a decade was amazing.

‘I loved those 10 years for me and my family, but I thought, “If I let this go away, if I don’t engage again, and if I don’t give it chance, I am a fool.” It might be the beginning of something, but its here now and I am grateful for it.’
