A reality TV contestant who appeared on Married at First Sight and Farmer wants a Wife has died suddenly.

Lachlan Rofe was found dead at home in Camden on the outskirts of Sydney on Tuesday.

The farmer appeared on the first series of MAFS in 2015.

The next year he was on another reality show, Farmer wants a Wife.

NSW Police said they were called to Old Razorback Road, Razorback near Camden at 10am on Tuesday after a 47-year-old man was found unresponsive in his home.

Paramedics tried to save him but he couldn’t be revived.

Police are investigating and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Another former MAFS contestant Ryan Donnelly said it was “tragic”.

“I was born in Camden, very sad to lose a local so young RIP,” he wrote on Instagram.
