Jennifer Lopez is reportedly finding it hard to get in touch with Ben Affleck. Here’s how he’s been communicating since their split.
After a whirlwind reconnection and marriage, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s second-chance love story ended in divorce. While the couple has not directly spoken negatively about each other in public, rumors about the collapse of their marriage flew over the summer of 2024. They were reportedly on better terms after finalizing their divorce. Now, though, a source said they have a distant relationship because of Affleck.

Though Affleck and Lopez are no longer married, they remain at least tangentially involved in each other’s lives through their children. Lopez reportedly wanted more of a relationship with him, but Affleck made this difficult.
“She’s stopped leaving messages or texts because he never answers,” a source told Star Magazine. “It’s so demeaning and rude.”
The source added that Affleck seemingly prefers to communicate with his ex-wife through a second party.
“Once in a while Ben will get back to her with the bare minimum or a ‘like’ to one of her questions, but 99.9 percent of the time, it’s all being handled by his lawyers or assistants.”
Lopez reportedly does not appreciate the treatment from her ex-husband.
“It’s driving J.Lo absolutely batty,” the source said.
Despite these reports, Lopez is still close with Affleck’s children. She recently stepped out with his son, Samuel, on a shopping trip.
