As RedState reported, it was revealed on Thursday that Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s body would be flown from Utah to his home state of Arizona on Air Force Two, with Kirk’s wife, Erika, also being on board and accompanied by Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, along with other Kirk family members and friends.

Mr. Kirk, a beloved conservative icon who was respected by millions, was assassinated on Wednesday during an outdoor TPUSA event at Utah Valley University. He was 31, and the father of two precious young children.

Video taken ahead of the Air Force Two flight showed the vice president, who was a friend of Kirk’s, helping transport the casket to the plane, as the Second Lady and Mrs. Kirk looked on. Later, Air Force Two safely landed in Phoenix, and Mrs. Vance was seen holding Mrs. Kirk’s hand in a show of support as they deboarded.
