After fans of The Valley watched Brittany Cartwright endure a painful separation from Jax Taylor, she has moved on to a new relationship. Photos of Cartwright and Brandon Hanson surfaced on social media, bringing in well wishes from fans. At least one person wasn’t happy about the images, though. Hanson’s estranged wife called them out on social media. Not long afterward, Cartwright cleared up her relationship status.

After photos surfaced of Cartwright and Hanson spending time together, his estranged wife, Jasina Stanko, spoke up.
“He’s my husband!!!” she wrote in a TikTok post. In another comment, she added, “That man is married.”
When another person asked her to clarify, Stanko wrote, “I married him. You know him?”
Despite this, Stanko and Hanson are reportedly going through a divorce, just as Cartwright is with Taylor.
“Like Brittany, he is going through a divorce, and he and his ex have been separated for the past seven months. They reconnected well after he had already been separated,” a source told People, adding, “The two have found comfort in each other as they’ve been navigating their respective divorces and personal life changes.”

Though Hanson and Cartwright recently took a trip to Mexico together, she said things aren’t as serious as they might seem.
“We’re not technically boyfriend and girlfriend just yet,” she told TMZ.
She noted that she met Hanson years ago, and she’s happy to spend some time getting to know him better. They’re focused on having a light, fun relationship.
“We’ve known each other for, like, 15 years. I met him back in Kentucky a long time ago,” she said. “He’s a great person, great father, just all around a good person. He’s making me happy. We’re just focused on having fun and doing our thing right now.”
Her separation from Taylor was emotionally challenging, and she’s happy to move forward with a new person.
“My outlook on everything with that toxic situation I was in has changed dramatically,” she said. “So I’m excited to just have fun and explore this new me. Let go of the dead weight, let go of the drama and just enjoy my life and my family and my friends.”
At this point, she doesn’t have plans to introduce Hanson to her son, Cruz. It’s a possibility in the future, though.
“Just seeing how it goes, taking the time,” she said. “But he’s a great person. I really like him.”

Cartwright feels she deserves to have fun in a relationship after enduring so many challenges with Taylor.
“I feel like Jax is like sucking the life out of me and sucking away all my sparkle,” she said in a confessional on The Valley. “How much more of this can I possibly take? I’m starting to realize all the little things that I have put up with for all nine years of my life.”
She said that because of her son, she realized she had to leave her marriage. The divorce proceedings have not been easy, though.
