NYC women are using perfume as 'man repellent'

It’s scumbag-be-gone.

Women around the globe are using perfumes as “man repellent” to avoid rotten, cheating individuals, hoping that these fragrant sprays will deter philanderers.

“Do you want to smell so good that men are literally chasing you down the street just to ask what you’re wearing?” Sofya, a NYC-based beauty influencer, asked her nearly 200,000 TikTok followers.

“Neither do I.”

The brunette, who titled her post “Perfumes that men CANNOT STAND,” is part of a growing group of glamour enthusiasts who prefer repelling, rather than attracting, the opposite sex with their scents.

It’s a years-long, yet under-the-radar movement that’s now picking up steam thanks to context creator Mikee, a curly-haired bombshell, who stitched a vid of comedian Rick Glassman saying, “[Men] don’t want you to wear perfume. We don’t like it. It smells like poison.”

Instead of doing away with her collection of sweet spritzes, Mikee showered herself with the good stuff, captioning the clip, “You hear that, ladies!!! Perfume is man repellent!!!.”

Her public service announcement was met with a wave of gratitude and cheers from cheater-fatigued divas.

“I think it’s because their wives [can] smell it later,” a commenter chimed, jabbing two-timers with a thinly-veiled sneer.

Others online revealed that men typically like sweet smells, like vanilla, and suggested women wear perfumes with woody, smoky and spicy notes — aromas they’ve found dudes tend to dislike.

One no-nonsense gal says she packs on men’s cologne ahead of nights on the town, calling the trick a “life hack” that not-so-subtly warns guys “don’t approach.”

“Good thing I now know what to wear… to keep those creeps away,” wrote another spectator beneath Mikee’s cheeky how-to.

“F—k! I hate spending money on perfume,” said a separate siren, “now I need ten!”

“Ladies, perfume and glitter are a must from here on out!” another exclaimed.

Glitter has, too, recently risen as a (literally) brilliant way to keep womanizers at bay.

Beauty buffs, such as Dalia Grande, are sprinkling the shiny stuff — which is virtually impossible to wash off, yet easily transferable from person-to-person — all over their bodies to ensure adulterers keep their distance.

Going on a first date [because] I’m at the age where they could be married (married men HATE glitter),” Grande wrote in a viral video, amassing over 24 million likes.

“Just to be safe.”
