Turning Point USA announced on Saturday that a massive public memorial service for its founder, Charlie Kirk, will be held next weekend to honor the life and legacy of the 31-year-old conservative activist, whom the organization described as an “American legend.”

The celebration of life, titled “Building a Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk,” is scheduled for Sunday, September 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The stadium, home to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, boasts a capacity of 63,400, expandable to 73,000 for major events, making it a fitting venue for what promises to be a large gathering of supporters.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. local time, with the program beginning at 11 a.m. Interested attendees can register online via the event website, and entry is first-come, first-served. Media outlets wishing to cover the memorial can apply for credentials through a dedicated portal.

The event’s website tribute emphasizes Kirk’s devotion to faith, family, and freedom, portraying his life as a “testament to faith, courage, and conviction.” It highlights how Kirk, starting from a small garage in Lemont, Illinois, at age 18, built TPUSA into a powerhouse grassroots movement inspiring millions.

The site quotes Matthew 25:23: “Well done, good and faithful servant,” underscoring Kirk’s Christian values and role as a husband to Erika and father to two children. President Donald Trump confirmed he plans to attend the services in Arizona, reflecting Kirk’s influence within MAGA circles. Kirk was assassinated on September 10 during a speech at Utah Valley University, prompting widespread mourning and speculation about motives.

The memorial aims to rally supporters to carry forward Kirk’s vision, with the organization stating, “We will move forward together, fighting harder, standing taller, and refusing to surrender.”
