Taylor Swift appears to have skipped Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs’ first home game of the season as her fiancé looks to get revenge on the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of February’s Super Bowl.

The Week 2 matchup in Kansas City looked likely to mark Swift’s first trip to Arrowhead Stadium to watch Kelce since the pair announced their engagement on August 10.

The songstress did watch his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, face Nebraska there to open the college football season last month. However, she was nowhere to be seen when the Chiefs got their clash with the Eagles underway on Sunday evening.

Rather than the usual long-pant look, the tight end, 35, had his legs on show, beaming at cameras as he made his way inside the stadium.

On social media, fans quickly had their say, with one joking: ‘Taylor Swift let him out like that?’

Fans joked that Taylor Swift shouldn't have let him out of the house with that fit

Another added: ‘Why does he always dress like a clown?’, while one said: ‘He dressed like the groomsman who lost a bet at the bachelor party.’

Others, meanwhile, were big fans of the fit, noting: ‘I love his fashion sense’ and ‘Papa is here. Let’s switch it on.’

A former Eagles fan from the Philadelphia area, Swift has become a staple at Arrowhead Stadium since she began dating Kelce in 2023. And beyond Kansas City, the international pop star has also traveled to two Super Bowls as well as a number of road games to watch the future Hall of Famer.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Kelce opened up to Swiftie and Fox Sports host Erin Andrews about the details of his recent proposal.

‘I gotta know… dry mouth, the nerves,’ Andrews began on the FOX pregame show. ‘How rattled did you get when you proposed? I haven’t even asked you this, by the way!’

‘Umm… she can tell that story,’ Kelce replied, laughing. ‘The palms were definitely sweating, I was definitely… I’m an emotional guy so there were a few tears here and there.

‘But it’s just been an exciting ride and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.’

He was then asked exactly what Swift has brought to his life. ‘She has brought excitement and a joy for life that has made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me that much more comfortable in who I am.’

The pair announced their engagement last month and sent the internet into meltdown, with the post on Swift’s Instagram accruing over 37 million likes.

Prior to the start of the season, there had been some discussion over whether Kelce would return for another year of the NFL.

Responding to those rumors, Kelce told Andrews and her crew: ‘You guys didn’t think I was going to come back? No way. I’m still a big kid on Sundays. I’ve still got a lot to prove.’

He was then asked what he’d like his legacy to be when he does eventually hang up his cleats in the NFL.

‘That I was a good teammate, a good person in the community,’ he revealed.

‘I just love what I do. I don’t know, I’m not here for any other reasons, I just love coming in, playing football, and giving people something to get excited for outside of their lives on Sundays.’
