CHICAGO (WLS) — At least 19 people have been shot, two fatally, in shootings across Chicago this weekend, police said.

Four men were injured in a South Side shooting on Friday night, Chicago police said.

Police said officers responded to a report of people shot in the Englewood neighborhood’s 6600-block of South Halsted Street just after 9:30 p.m.

Responding officers found a 38-year-old man on the ground. The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body, was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

Another man injured in the same shooting took himself to the same hospital, police said. The 49-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was listed in good condition.

Officers then went to St. Bernard Hospital, where two other men injured in the shooting were being treated. The two men, 35 and 36 years old, each suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Both are listed in good condition.

No one was in custody, and Area One detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.

A woman was found shot to death on Chicago’s Northwest Side early Saturday morning, police said.

Police said officers responded to a call about a person shot in the 1700-block of North Kimball Avenue in Humboldt Park near Logan Square around 2:45 a.m. Responding officers found an unresponsive 26-year-old woman who had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No one is in custody, and Area Five detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.

Saturday night, a teenage boy was shot to death on the city’s South Side, Chicago police said.

Police said the shooting happened in the Morgan Park neighborhood’s 11300-block of South Carpenter Street around 7:15 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was standing on the sidewalk when someone inside a blue sedan fired shots, striking him in the chest.

Police said the victim was transported in critical condition to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified him as Ian Williams.

The sedan’s driver fled northbound on Carpenter Street.

There is one in custody, and Area Two detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
