A happy and healthy Christopher Schwarzenegger enjoyed quality family time under the sun.
Following his recent 30-pound weight loss journey, Christopher, 27, appeared shirtless in two photos shared by his sister Katherine Schwarzenegger via Instagram on Sunday, September 14.
In the Instagram carousel, which captured several members of the Schwarzenegger clan enjoying a lake day aboard a boat, Christopher was seen smiling in blue and white shorts alongside a family friend who wrapped her arms around his bare torso. In the second snap, Christopher stood on his own, peering into the lens as he pointed to the shimmering water around him.
“Lake days 💙,” Katherine, 35, captioned the post. Additional photos included her husband, Chris Pratt, and her mother, Maria Shriver, who was seen taking a dip while holding a young girl whose face was turned away from the camera.
Christopher, who is the son of Shriver, 69, and her ex- husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, spoke publicly about his weight loss journey in May. During an appearance at the Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles, he revealed that it’s taken him more than five years to reach his weight goals.
In an article published by People at the time, Christopher reportedly said at the event, “It was a big process. I started in 2019 when I was living in Australia. I was on this big trip. I made it a big [deal] like, ‘Oh, I’m going to go out and do all this stuff, be in Australia,’ and I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities.”

The candid reflections detailed how one of those everyday activities included skydiving. “I was like, ‘I want to go skydiving.’ And my friends were like, ‘Yeah, no shot,’” Christopher said. “I was like, ‘Yeah, I can’t skydive.’”
He also revealed that he had tried several weight loss methods over the years, including pre-packaged meals while he was a school student. “I remember feeling like a weirdo when I was bringing weird lunches to school,” Christopher said at the event, per the outlet. “It’s not an overnight thing, but it took a lot of trial and error. And even still to this day … when you’re saying, ‘Oh, before and after photos’ … I don’t feel like I’m an ‘after’ yet. I don’t feel like I’m at the point.”
Katherine first documented her brother’s weight loss via an Instagram post shared just last month. The “Good Night Sister” author’s August carousel captured a family trip to Cape Cod, with several photos showing Christopher’s slim physique as he scrolled through his phone. “A perfect day,” Katherine captioned the August 22 post.
