A pair of Bengals fans seemed to be so broken up about Joe Burrow’s injury that they decided to fight each other before others joined in the chaos.
During Cincinnati’s thrilling 31-27 triumph over the Jaguars on Sunday, a brawl involving a few fans wearing Burrow No. 9 jerseys, and another fan in a Bengals jersey with “Your Mom” and No. 69 on it, was captured on video.
The kerfuffle took place while Bon Jovi’s hit song “Livin’ on a Prayer” played in the background on the Paycor Stadium PA system.
The footage begins with a woman trying to restrain the man in the No. 69 jersey while he is entangled with a separate man in a Burrow jersey. Two individuals, both dressed in Burrow jerseys, were seen locking arms before one managed to drag the other down, causing him to hit the ground.
The one fan – also wearing a black hat – got back up and was hit with a punch by the other fan, who had white hair.
One member of security and an usher tried to calm the situation before the 41-second clip came to an end.
TMZ reported that the altercation took place after the Bengals’ star quarterback was injured.

Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that it was a turf toe injury and that Burrow would likely need surgery.
“I’m not prepared to make any definitive decisions [about the IR] at the moment,” Taylor stated to journalists on Monday. “We’ll navigate through the week, gather all the necessary details we can, and proceed from there.”
Taylor did throw his support behind backup QB Jake Brown, who will take over in Burrow’s place for the 2-0 Bengals.
“We have a ton of confidence in Jake,” Taylor said. “He proved that yesterday. … He’s played against this team we’re about to play, so he’s got experience there. The point that you turn to now is excited for Jake to go out there and play, and he’s earned the right to be in the spotlight. The guys will ride behind him and we’ll get Jake’s best.”
