The list concludes with “We value Life as a gift and practice daily gratitude for the day that has been given to us,” and “We value HUMAN beings and believe in their dignity and eternal worth.”

The items on the list are relatively broad goals, so it’s difficult for fans to tell if the family follows them. There’s one rule that fans feel confident the couple isn’t following, though. The sixth rule reads, “We value Sustainability and creating products that serve humanity.” Fans have expressed doubt.

“Lol they ‘value sustainability.’” wrote one Reddit user.

Both Justin and Hailey have brands, which many people pointed out in the comments. While Hailey’s beauty brand, Rhode, has a sustainability pledge, people still don’t seem convinced.

“Okay but how does a cellphone case that holds lipstick that you change to match your outfits encourage sustainability lol,” wrote one person.

“Yeah I’m sure those plastic shoes he sells are super sustainable,” wrote one person.

Several people also poked fun at the idea that beauty products and clothing “serve humanity.” 

He celebrated his seventh wedding anniversary 

Justin posted the list of rules in honor of his seventh wedding anniversary. The couple wed in 2018 in a small civil ceremony before holding a larger wedding the following year. They wanted a more traditional wedding because having a religious ceremony was important to them.

“It was all flawless and absolutely magical. They were thrilled to have their families and friends in South Carolina. It meant more than they imagined,” a source told People. “Although they were already married, their religious wedding ceremony was very important. It now feels more official for them.”
