The transgender lover of Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin supported anti-woke author Jordan Peterson, Reddit posts show.

On Friday, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was taken into custody in relation to the murder that resulted in the death of a conservative activist, who was shot in the neck at Utah Valley University.

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has said the shooter had been ‘infected’ by an extreme leftist ideology leading up to the assassination.

Earlier Reddit posts revealed by the Daily Mail seem to corroborate this. However, additional messages show that Robinson’s romantic partner, Lance Twiggs, was an admirer of Peterson, despite Peterson’s well-known criticisms of radical leftist movements, particularly those concerning gender identity, pronouns, and the trans movement.

In posts from around 2020 and 2021, Twiggs expressed his admiration for Peterson, noting that his teachings were linked to ‘personal growth and becoming a better person.’

In forums discussing Peterson, Twiggs admitted to having once been ‘openly transphobic’ — despite being transgender himself.

Twiggs, who has been ‘extremely cooperative’ with authorities, lived with Robinson and is said to have been ‘aghast’ when confronted by investigators over his lover’s alleged assassination plot.

Daily Mail previously revealed that Twiggs goes by several variations of the name ‘lancelotte’ on social media, including ‘lancelott3.’

An account on online forum Reddit with the username ‘lancelott3’ posted extensively in a group for transgender issues.

But it is his posts about Jordan Peterson that may come as the biggest surprise.

‘This is the stuff I love seeing on this subreddit. Not political, just pure personal growth attributed to ideas from Jordan,’ user ‘lancelott3’ said in response to a post about people being saved by Peterson.

‘Jordan’s sub should be about personal growth and becoming a better person. Not a bunch of people acting like edgy 14 year old’s over an old article on an unreliable site.’

Responding to a negative post about Peterson, ‘lancelott3’ said: ‘I am genuinely confused by this sub sometimes. I read 12 Rules [Peterson’s most popular book], and joined.

‘…unless he is a whole different person outside his writing it seems like people use him to leverage their own random ideas.

‘This isn’t related to what you were saying but I felt like throwing it out there.’

In other posts, ‘lancelott3’ confessed to once being transphobic and agreed gender dysphoria can be diagnosed too quickly.

‘I guess we simply view this topic differently. I agree that dysphoria is diagnosed too quickly, especially with teens who simply are struggling with self image issues, but in my mind if someone wants to make decisions that change their mind, it’s their life to do that with,’ the user said.

The account believed to be linked to Twiggs also wrote: ‘I used to be extremely openly transphobic and have grown out of it, as well as met some nice transgender individuals.

‘If your reason is that the child is ruining their body, that’s 100% their choice and it doesn’t affect you. I genuinely want to know why you are so strongly opinionated on this.’

Peterson’s controversial statements mostly center around his views on gender identity, free speech and social issues.

He was suspended from Twitter in 2022 for ‘misgendering’ transgender actor Elliot Page, using Page’s former name ‘Ellen’ instead of their current one.

Peterson’s videos were also demonetized on YouTube in 2022 after he described gender–affirming care as ‘Nazi medical experiment–level wrong’ in a video.

In July, Peterson put his Toronto mansion up for sale ahead of his re–location to the United States.

The house is located in Toronto’s Seaton Village, and the couple’s ownership was confirmed by their daughter, Mikhaila Fuller.

Fuller, 33, told the National Post that her parents are re–locating to Paradise Valley in Arizona.

‘With the touring they do, they were hardly in Toronto at all anymore, and it didn’t make sense to keep the house,’ she said – adding that her parents ‘are not rebuying in Toronto.’

Peterson’s decision to leave Canada comes two years after the author – who is also a clinical psychologist and media personality – was told by Canada’s College of Psychologists of Ontario to undergo re–education therapy for controversial public statements he made.

The Canadian College of Psychologists argued that Peterson said things they don’t agree with and they feel the need to fix his beliefs.

Peterson took his case to court because of concerns regarding how the order might impact his professional license in psychology, but the Ontario Divisional Court dismissed Peterson’s claim and upheld the College of Psychologists’ demand.
