NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — At least two people were seriously injured following a shooting incident involving law enforcement in York County, Pennsylvania, according to officials.
The 911 call came in around 2:10 p.m. Tuesday near Haar Road and Senft Road, ABC affiliate WHTM reported.
WellSpan York Hospital said it is currently treating two individuals. Both are said to be in serious condition.
Further details on those injured were not immediately available.
In a statement on X, Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis said, “Please send prayers to the officers and those involved in the shooting in York County. As we learn more, follow all guidance from police and stay away from the area.”
Gov. Josh Shapiro said he has been briefed on the situation and is en route to the scene.
All Spring Grove schools are in a shelter-in-place due to the investigation.
“Local authorities have advised us to hold students and staff in our buildings as a precaution while several area roads are closed. There will be major delays in bus transportation for all students,” the school district said in a statement.
