Cardi B is pregnant with baby no. 4, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs. The rapper confirmed the news during an appearance on CBS Mornings on Sept. 17.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs,” Cardi told Gayle King. “I’ve been putting in all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

The 32-year-old is currently gearing up for the release of her new album Am I The Drama?, which drops Sept. 19.

She noted that her due date comes before she launches her Little Miss Drama tour in February.

“I’m happy I feel like I’m in a good space,” she continued. “Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We like in the same space in our careers. You know what it is that I feel like we’re really great, we’re really the best at what we do.”

Cardi admitted she hadn’t told her parents about the pregnancy before her on-air announcement because she’s “scared” of how they would react. She added that she also chose not to share the news with fans right away, wanting to do it on her own terms.

“I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time?’ Like, I’m not hiding,” Cardi B said. “On my time, on my own terms. Let me close some deals first, you know what I’m saying? Let me close some deals first. And it’s like, you don’t really want to say right way that you’re pregnant. It’s like, ‘Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.’”

The Grammy winner also shared how Diggs has been a source of strength as she navigates the pressures of releasing new music.

“He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,’ said Cardi B. “Two weeks ago, I was literally having a panic attack. I was like crying and crying and crying, just because I was getting really nervous with the whole album rollout….And he was just like, ‘Girl, you better get it together.’ … I feel like feeling safe, feeling confident, it makes you feel like you can take over the world.”

Now that she’s shared the news, Cardi had a playful message for fans: “By the way, now that I talked about it, y’all better get my album, so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff,” she joked. “I told you. Now go support my album, ’cause I’m a mother of four now.”

The pregnancy comes just three months after Cardi and Digs confirmed their relationship with a public date night at a New York Knicks game in May. It also follows her split from estranged husband Offset, with whom she shares three children: daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, 12 months. Cardi filed for divorce in July 2024, shortly after Blossom’s birth.
