Trump Acknowledges Disappointment in Putin Over Ukraine Peace Negotiations

President Trump replied to comments made by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer concerning the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

“The Russian leader disappointed me,” stated the US president on Thursday, as Trump has been working to mediate a resolution to the war with Ukraine.

“I thought it might be among the easiest of the group” of conflicts to resolve, Trump added of the European war.

When Starmer spoke, ahead of Trump, the prime minister declared that “[Vladimir] Putin has shown his true face.”
