'Wednesday' star Emma Myers reveals what she wants changed for Enid in season 3

Wednesday star Emma Myers is already looking ahead to Season 3 — and she’s got a few ideas about where she wants Enid Sinclair’s story to go.

The hit Netflix series dropped the back half of Season 2 on September 3, but fans already know a third season is on the way. And given where things left off, there’s plenty to speculate about. In the finale, Enid went full alpha werewolf to save her bestie Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), only to disappear without a trace.

In a new chat with Radio Times, Myers said she has two big hopes for her character when the series returns.

First on her wish list? Enid not being trapped in her wolf form forever.

“I think Enid is just really a selfless person, so I don’t think anything really had to convince her. I think it was a no-brainer for her. Obviously, she wants to save her best friend. So, it’s either she stays a human and Wednesday dies or she can sacrifice a bit of her humanity and save her best friend. So, I think it was a no-brainer for her. I’d like to not be stuck as a werewolf forever in Season 3.”

Myers also hopes the core crew at Nevermore Academy can stop fighting and start bonding again.

“I just hope that none of us are at each other’s throats anymore. I hope we can be friends.”

That might be easier said than done. Season 2 piled plenty of drama on Enid, from a rivalry with Agnes (Evie Templeton) to a love triangle between Ajax (Georgie Farmer) and new werewolf Bruno (Georgie B. Taylor).

Still, Enid did form a meaningful connection with a new face: Billie Piper’s werewolf teacher, Isadora Capri. Myers told Radio Times she wants to see more of that dynamic next season:

“She’s amazing. What a woman. So sweet. She’s really good at scolding you as a teacher to the point where, when we were filming, she was getting mad at me. I was like, ‘I’m sorry.’ She’s so lovely, and I hope I get to do more with her next season, because she’s such a treat to work with and… what a great character.”

With Enid missing, Season 3 looks primed to expand beyond Nevermore, as Wednesday, Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen), and Thing set out to track her down. That opens the door for more werewolf lore, new powers, and maybe — just maybe — a fresh start for Enid.
