According to The Sun, Holland was taken to the hospital after a stunt “went wrong” on the set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

WASHINGTON — Actor Tom Holland suffered a mild concussion on the U.K. set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” on Friday, according to multiple media reports.

Holland was taken to the hospital after a stunt “went wrong” and the actor “cracked his head in a fall,” The Sun reported.

While filming on the major movie production was suspended, it sounds like Holland won’t be out too long and escaped major injury. A source told DEADLINE the actor is taking a break “out of precaution” but is expected to return to filming in a few days.

The film, which is the fourth installment of Marvel’s “Spider-Man” movies with Holland as the lead, is due out next July. The previous movie, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” had $1.91 billion in ticket sales and became Sony’s highest grossing movie of all time.

A day after his on-set injury, Holland even hosted a charity event in London with his three brothers. Zendaya, his fiancée and “Spider-Man” co-star, also attended the event.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is being directed by “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” director Destin Daniel Cretton and will deal with the aftermath of the third installment, where the universe forgot who Spider-Man and Peter Parker were.

Zendaya, who plays MJ, and Jacob Batalon, who plays Peter Parker’s best friend Ned, will also return in the fourth movie, Variety reports.

Last month, Sony shared on-set footage of Holland celebrating “Day one back in the suit” as filming ramped up on the production.

“You know, I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right, no pressure,” Holland remarked in the teaser.
