Coastal Heritage Society to host annual 'Frogwarts' event

SAVANNAH, Ga. () – The Coastal Heritage Society announced it will be hosting its annual “Frogwarts: A Magical Adventure!”

The event will take place on Sunday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children’s Museum.

The event aims to blend hands-on science with fantasy, including offering STEAM-based activities disguised as wizarding classes. Guests can also:

  • Craft wooden wands with the Lowcountry Turners
  • Meet animals with Callaway Critters and the Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education
  • Enjoy treats from a variety of food vendors.
  • Take potion-making and herbology classes
  • Fortune telling
  • Quill writing
  • Glow-in-the-dark fun
  • Muggle studies
  • Quidditch

Guests can even take a ride on the museum’s own Frogwarts Express locomotive

“Frogwarts: A Magical Adventure!” is sponsored by Colonial Group, Inc., the Lesher Family Foundation and Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry.

Tickets for this event are $15 for CHS members and $17 for nonmembers and are available at Frogwarts 2025.
