Kylie Jenner has built one of the most recognizable beauty brands in the world, and now, she’s imagining what it might look like when her daughter is old enough to decide her own future, hopefully, taking the lead at Kylie Cosmetics.

In a recent interview with Beauty Inc., the 28-year-old shared that she would love for Stormi Webster, her 7-year-old daughter with ex Travis Scott, to one day take the reins of Kylie Cosmetics.

“It’s my dream that my daughter will want to take over Kylie Cosmetics,” Kylie said. “I would love for this to be a legacy brand, and I’m working hard every day to set up that future.”

For now, Stormi is simply having fun experimenting. The Kardashians star has included her daughter in lighthearted TikTok “get ready with me” videos, where the two play with Kylie Cosmetics products together.

Kylie has been quick to make the distinction clear, Stormi’s role is about fun, not beauty standards. In their first joint tutorial in July, she reminded her daughter of what really matters. “Mommy always tells you though, you’re the most beautiful without…” Kylie said, prompting Stormi to chime back, “Makeup.” Kylie is unquestionably establishing the balance of encouraging creativity while reinforcing self-worth.

This isn’t the first time Kylie has spoken about her hopes for Stormi’s future. Back in 2021, she told tmrw magazine, “Stormi is my legacy. I’m raising her to be smart and kind and driven. Maybe she will take over Kylie Cosmetics one day.” She quickly added, “Only if she wants to.”

The sentiment remains the same today. Kylie may dream of passing down her brand, but she’s equally clear that the choice will always be Stormi’s to make.

Stormi isn’t the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner-West family thinking about the future. Her cousin North West, now 12, has already shared her ambitions to continue her own parents’ legacies. “One day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS,” North told i-D magazine last year. “And I want to be a business owner.”

In addition to Stormi, Kylie is also mother to two-year-old Aire. North West is the eldest daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
