Donna Kelce is ready for another grandbaby.
The proud NFL mama is definitely leaning on her youngest son to have kids with his fiancé, Taylor Swift, brothers Jason and Travis Kelce confirmed during the September 22 episode of their New Heights podcast.
Jason Kelce is ‘number one’ in his mom’s eyes because he has kids
During a chat with guest Deion Sanders about whether he “ranks” his kids, the former NFL star and current University of Colorado coach said that the Kelce parents probably had a private ranking for their two football-playing sons.
“Your parents’ rank y’all,” he said. “Y’all just don’t know it.”
“Mom’s always had Travis number one,” Jason, 37, replied. “I do know.”
But Travis, 35, has slipped to the number 2 position in recent years, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed.
“Listen, right now mom has Jason number one because he has kids,” he shared. Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce share four daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 5 months
“That is true,” Jason agreed. “She has said that. She has made that comment. She’s put some pressure on him.”
“So what you waiting on, dog?” guest Deion Sanders asked, to which Travis responded with a laugh.

Travis played coy about whether he and his billionaire pop star girlfriend were planning to start a family. But he’s talked in the past about wanting to have kids.
In a February 2023 episode of New Heights, the brothers joked about their mom rooting for Jason over Travis in the upcoming Super Bowl because Jason had kids.
“You’ve said in the past to both of us that you root for me because I’ve given you grandkids,” Jason said to Donna, who was a guest on the show.
Travis chimed in that he’d have to settle down and start a family if he wanted to get his mother back on his side.
“I gotta start breeding, I gotta start breeding … I’m gonna find a breeder and I’m gonna get kids so that mom can love me again.”
But Donna made it clear she only wanted her son to start a family with someone special.
“Wait until you find the right person,” she said. “Find the right person.”
A few months later, Travis made a move on his soon-to-be-wife when he attempted to give her a friendship bracelet after her concert at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Taylor didn’t meet with Travis after that performance, but they later connected, going public with their romance that fall. They announced their engagement in August 2025.
