Popular Nigerian artiste, Shallipopi has cautioned men against going into romantic relationships, stressing that they often come with heavy financial burdens.

He described relationships as a “financial trap” and went further to label marriage a “financial mistake,” particularly for men from modest or struggling backgrounds.

Shallipopi argued that many men overstretch themselves financially in a bid to meet the demands of their partners, which can lead to unnecessary hardship and pressure.

He advised men to prioritize living within their financial capacity instead of trying to impress others or maintain lifestyles they cannot afford.
