Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger was seen shopping at a Costco just hours after brutally murdering four University of Idaho students.

Recently released surveillance footage reveals the 30-year-old former criminology student nonchalantly entering a Costco Wholesale store on the morning of November 14, 2022, just hours following the brutal attack.

The night prior, Kohberger had broken into an off-campus rental house in Moscow, Idaho, where he lethally stabbed Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin.

The footage, initially obtained by crime podcaster Gray Hughes and later publicized by NewsNation, depicts Kohberger entering the membership-only warehouse club, where he is momentarily halted by an employee.

Wearing a button-down shirt and gray slacks, Kohberger appears to engage in a polite exchange with the greeter before calmly leaving the store without incident.

During the interaction, he is seen holding a water bottle in one hand while keeping his other hand in his pocket – seemingly attempting to conceal injuries sustained during the violent attack.

‘And interesting how he has his hand kind of in his left pocket. And that’s the hand that has the Band-Aid on it that was cut,’ NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield noted during a segment reviewing the footage.

‘So, trying to hide that as he’s walking around.’

Kohberger was seen with a wound on his hand in selfies taken after the murders.

That same morning, Kohberger was also spotted driving his white Hyundai Elantra into the parking lot of a local coffee shop, though he did not appear to order anything while inside.

Then, after a brief pause in the lot, he drove off.

Later that afternoon, he was seen once again – this time inside a supermarket, where he purchased a drink using the self-checkout kiosk.

The new video footage comes just months after Kohberger sensationally decided to plead guilty to the murders after years of maintaining his innocence.

In avoiding a jury trial, Kohberger has never had to reveal his motive for the brutal slayings.

He accepted a plea deal resulting in four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, along with an additional 10 years for burglary.

By pleading guilty, Kohberger avoided the death penalty. He will serve his time at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution.

Since being incarcerated, Kohberger has reportedly complained about the food and harassment from fellow inmates, according to NewsNation.

On July 30, he filed an initial complaint claiming that other inmates were deliberately flooding their cells and subjecting him to ‘minute-by-minute verbal threats/harassment,’ documents obtained by NewsNation revealed.

In a follow-up statement on August 4, Kohberger reported receiving threats of sexual assault.

Meanwhile, the release of certain case files and crime scene photographs has been blocked after the victims’ families filed a lawsuit seeking to keep those materials sealed.
