Selma Blair on her skincare staples and the ‘privilege’ of aging: ‘Beauty is about confidence, not perfection’

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.

Selma Blair’s beauty philosophy is more than skin deep.

While the star tells Page Six Style she “chased trends and quick fixes” in her twenties, these days she’s embracing a “simple, consistent, and effective” routine that includes ESK Ultimate A Gold, an anti-aging night cream for sensitive, mature or reactive skin that she developed with the Australian skincare company.

“It was never about me being just a face of the brand, it was about creating something authentic together,” says the “Cruel Intentions” star, who first discovered ESK years ago while she was battling acne after giving birth to her son.

As such, Blair’s mission as a brand collaborator goes well beyond sales and skincare bottles.

“Beauty is all about confidence, not perfection,” she says. “Aging is a privilege, and the goal should be feeling strong, comfortable and authentic in our own skin.”

Read on to shop the staples helping Blair do just that — from stylish reading glasses to an “easy” foundation stick.
