Donald Trump recently had some choice words about his Press Secretary’s appearance.
‘She’s become a star. It’s that face. It’s that brain. It’s those lips, the way they move,’ Trump said in a Newsmax interview in August.
‘They move like she’s a machine gun.’
Indeed, since Karoline Leavitt has been in The White House, the 28-year-old has not only drawn praise for her quick-witted responses to the press and hardworking attitude, but also her style and glamorous makeup.
Just after she was confirmed as Press Secretary in January, she was even set to become a ‘White House style icon.’
And on Tuesday, she appeared on Fox News with a noticeably plumper pout, as she spoke to host Jesse Watters about the UN escalator that malfunctioned as Trump tried to get on it.
So what’s the secret behind her apparent new look?
Following her Fox News appearance, a plastic surgeon is now weighing in to Daily Mail exclusively about whether or not Leavitt has had any cosmetic ‘tweakments’ done since she was thrust into the Washington spotlight.

And according to Minnesota-based Dr Jennifer Harrington – who has not treated the political maven – whatever work Leavitt has had is quite subtle so far, if she’s even had any at all.
In fact, after viewing at footage and photos of Leavitt, Dr Harrington said that the 28-year-old looked ‘amazing.’
‘She does appear in this interview to have enhanced fullness of her upper and lower lips, and her skin is flawless,’ the founder of Harrington + Associates Plastic Surgery in Minneapolis-St. Paul told Daily Mail exclusively about Leavitt’s recent Fox appearance.
Dr Harrington explained that this can be done in a number of different ways, including cosmetic injections like lip filler and ‘energy-based modalities like Exion HA by BTL industries,’ which is a non-invasive device that uses radio frequency to help boost the skin’s collagen.
However, in this case, Dr Harrington suspects that Leavitt may have had lip filler injected, rather than an Exion HA treatment.
‘You can get a really subtle, natural-looking boost with just 0.5 to 1ml of filler per lip, and, looking at these photos, that feels about right here,’ the board-certified plastic surgeon said.
‘Everyone’s lips are different, so the exact amount can change depending on what look you’re going for and the technique used,’ she continued.

‘I can imagine that her media-facing position is very stressful, and I applaud her for doing what she feels best to present to the public,’ Dr Harrington told Daily Mail.
‘Look better, Feel better, Do better!’
Dr Harrington’s assessment of Leavitt comes just weeks after she was treated to a glamorous birthday bash at the White House in August.
Leavitt turned 28 on August 24, and her team decided to celebrate a few days early with balloons, donuts and luxurious presents – all captured by Trump’s glamorous Special Assistant and Communications Advisor, Margo Martin.
Martin posted the birthday celebrations to her Instagram story.
She filmed Leavitt walking into what appeared to be in The Roosevelt Room in The White House, which was filled to the brim with birthday decorations.
Members of the Trump team were gathered near a table in the middle of the office.
‘This is so embarrassing,’ Leavitt said with a smile on her face as she entered the room, and the staff sang Happy Birthday to her.

‘Oh my gosh,’ she said, as everyone started to clap for her.
The table was decorated with confetti, and on one of the chairs, somebody had tied a bouquet of silver and pink balloons that were in the shape of the number 28.
They also treated the Press Secretary to a delicious spread of donuts and fruit, as well as water and coffee.
Of course, there were also an array of presents for the birthday girl, including one that appeared to be in a bag from designer Louis Vuitton.
Her actual birthday was spent back home in New Hampshire, as she celebrated on the beach with her husband, Nicholas Riccio, 59, and their one-year-old son, Nicholas ‘Niko’ Robert.
That weekend, she also went into Boston’s North End to have a birthday dinner before heading back to The White House.
