Police have charged two men following a shooting in Brisbane’s south-east last Sunday, but a female suspect remains on the run.

Emergency services were called to Kingston Road at Slacks Creek after reports of a street disturbance at around 8.19am.

The three offenders allegedly entered a property where they stole items and fired a gun.

A 35-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Two men – a 37-year-old Gympie man and a 47-year-old Victory Heights man – were both arrested.

They are facing a slew of charges, including two counts of armed robbery with violence, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, assaults occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, enter dwelling with intent, dangerous conduct with a weapon, wilful damage, and carry dangerous goods in a vehicle.

The attack is believed to be targeted.

The 37-year-old man is set to face court today.

The 47-year-old man remains in police custody and is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on November 19.

A female offender is still on the run as investigations continue.
