() D4vd’s manager has denied knowing anything about Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s disappearance and refuted claims that he received an email about her before she died.

Josh Marshall, D4vd’s manager and founder of Mogul Vision, commented on a TikTok, saying he has “zero knowledge of anything” after Hernandez was found dead in the trunk of a Tesla Model X registered to D4vd on Sept. 8.

He confirmed to LA Magazine that he wrote a statement posted under a TikTok video about the case.

“I do feel he has possibly consulted with a lawyer, which is maybe why he didn’t bring Celeste’s name up at all, and he really didn’t say anything else besides a denial of knowing anything,” Los Angeles Magazine contributor Lauren Conlin told ‘s Ashleigh Banfield Monday.

Hernandez had been missing since April 2024, when she was just 13.

“This news is tragic for so many and for her family,” Marshall wrote. “I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon. Let me remind people a lot of this is speculation and alleged.”

Marshall also denied ever receiving an email from Hernandez’s family after she was reported missing for the final time as a runaway in 2024. The letter was sent by “Adults in Celeste’s life.”

The day after the email was sent, Hernandez returned home.

“He was just, like, ‘No, I never received any email,'” Conlin said. “I have no knowledge.”

Full statement from Josh Marshall:

“This video is false and the person is misinformed. This is the only time I’ll speak on this matter. FOR NOW. This has been a tough time for my family as I am a father of 3 children. I received no emails and I’m no one’s room mate, I live full time at home with my wife and kids. My daughter is 14 and this news is affecting so many lives. I never received any emails. I had zero knowledge of anything and I don’t live in California. Also I work remotely 95% of the time and my job doesn’t require me to have much interaction with any of my clients/David, as there are many others that work with him on a day to day capacity, not me. This news is tragic for so many and for her family. I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon. Let me remind people a lot of this is speculation and alleged. In the meantime, I am with my family helping them emotionally get through the news of this tragedy. Please report on factual information.”

Celeste Rivas Hernandez died weeks before discovery in D4vd’s Tesla

The Los Angeles Police Department said Sunday that Rivas Hernandez’s body was likely in D4vd’s Tesla weeks before she was found.

D4vd’s Tesla was reported abandoned to authorities Aug 26.

LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams said while there are still questions about her death, “we know for sure that Celeste Rivas Hernandez died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke’s (D4vd’s legal name) Tesla.”

Private investigator Steve Fischer obtained the initial complaint report, vehicle impound report and photos of D4vd’s Tesla from when it was declared abandoned.

He told ’s Ashleigh Banfield that neighbors noticed the car had been parked in the same spot for a while.

To be towed from a street where there were no parking restrictions, “It had to be there quite a while,” Fischer added.

Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s cause of death still undetermined

Hernandez’s cause of death still hasn’t been determined, according to authorities.

“The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not determined a cause or manner of her death, so we don’t know for sure if anyone has any criminal culpability for her death beyond the concealment of her dead body,” Williams said.

Police have yet to charge anyone in her death.
