Reese Witherspoon has revealed her real name. 

The actress, 49, appeared on the latest episode of the Table Manners podcast on Wednesday with Jessie and Lennie Ware.

During her appearance, she spoke about all things in the kitchen, from her must-have afternoon snack to what’s in her fridge.

While discussing her childhood, the star revealed that Reese is not her real name and that she was actually named after her grandma. 

The Legally Blonde star said: ‘She [grandma] passed away when my mum was really young. But I was named after her. 

‘My mum always says I’m a lot like her. Her name is Laura Jean Reese. And I’m Laura Jean Reese.’

She said: ‘My mum always says I’m a lot like her. Her name is Laura Jean Reese. And I’m Laura Jean Reese’

Shocked, Lennie replied: ‘Oh so Reese isn’t your first name?’

Reese responded: ‘No, Laura Jean is my first name,’ before Lennie added: ‘Well, that sounds deep south to me.’

The actress explained: ‘Yeah, we have these double names. These southern girls have double names.’ 

It comes after Reese shared a rare photo of her youngest child, Tennessee, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jim Toth.

The Morning Show actress took to Instagram to post a snap of her and her son while celebrating his 13th birthday.

In her caption, she gushed over his ‘brilliance’ as she marked the milestone occasion of him becoming a teenager.

She began: ‘How is it possible that my youngest boy is 13?!’

‘He never ceases to amaze me with his joyfulness, his brilliant sense of humour and his endless curiosity. I love you so much, Tenn!’

In the sweet photo, the Legally Blonde star — who was spotted on a rare outing with her financier boyfriend Oliver Haarmann, 57, in London last week — and her son posed in front of a scenic view, standing on a balcony overlooking a body of water.

The actress wore a black, polkadot dress with a V-neckline and had pushed back a pair of sunglasses onto the top of her head.

At her side, her mini-me kid wore a light blue button-down and khaki pants, and the mother-son duo flashed their identical smiles.

In the comments section, many of Witherspoon’s celebrity pals, some with young kids themselves, penned sweet messages about the photo.

An insider told Page Six at the time: ‘There’s no big scandal or drama, just two people who essentially became coparents and don’t really have any romantic feelings for each other anymore.’

Since then, she has started dating her financier boyfriend and was spotted on a rare outing together last week for a theater date night in London.

A source revealed that Witherspoon is smitten with him, and the couple have a ‘very special relationship,’ per People.

The Morning Show star is in ‘such a good place right now,’ the insider said.

‘Her relationship with Oliver is very special to her. He’s not interested in the Hollywood spotlight. He’s there for her.’

The source also added that her businessman boyfriend is ‘very supportive of her,’ and her three children ‘are doing well.’
