Robert Irwin is feeling like a million bucks.
Following the “TikTok Night” on “Dancing With the Stars,” the wildlife conservationist shared his thoughts with Page Six about his show-stopping shirtless routine set to “Million Dollar Baby” by Tommy Richman.
Irwin, 21, expressed his enjoyment of the performance, saying, “I was disappointed that I had to put my shirt back on! It was a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed it.” The dance was crafted by his professional dance partner, Witney Carson.
“The concept actually started with me,” he explained. “I thought, ‘It’s ‘Million Dollar Baby,’ it’s an edgy tune, perfect for TikTok Night,’ and I wanted to reveal a different aspect of myself.”
“I knew that ‘cool guy Robert’ was in there somewhere, and I was like, ‘I want to unleash new energy.’ And Witney was like, ‘Alright, let’s go for it.’ And we went for it!”
The performance kicked off after Robert (who is the son of the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin and conservationist Terri Irwin) revealed he’s single and “still looking” for the perfect American girl.
Since then, his DMs have been poppin’ off — and he’s not mad about it.
“Oh my goodness, the DMs,” the Australian zookeeper said, laughing. “First of all, it just means so, so much. But, yeah, I’m on the lookout and it’ll happen when it happens … keep it coming!”
Carson and Robert’s older sister, Bindi Irwin, have also been receiving an influx of messages from girls looking to date the wildlife photographer.
“We are so busy right now, girls, OK?” Carson, 31, joked. “We’re trying to win a mirrorball. So, settle down! Maybe don’t email me a hundred times a day.”
The choreographer also spoke about the very serious vetting process she and Bindi have in place, telling Page Six, “It’s stressful.”
“Bindi is taking a backseat. She’s like, ‘I can’t deal with it anymore. It’s up to you now.’”
During Tuesday’s “TikTok Night,” Robert and Carson performed a salsa to Richman’s viral hit, receiving a total score of 22/30 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.
Naturally, fans on social media couldn’t help themselves from swooning over the steamy routine.
“The smolder in the beginning, the way he ripped off his shirt, the body rolls… it’s really serious for Robert Irwin,” one user gushed on X, with another adding, “[He] just ripped off his shirt…automatic 10.”
A third chimed in with a message of “thanks,” writing, “Robert Irwin shirtless on my TV screen. Thank you to the ballroom gods, Witney Carson, the costume department and the endless reasons to tune into this blessed program.”
Despite another week of high scores, the pressure is certainly on for the dance duo. Many loyal viewers are hoping to see Robert secure the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy years after Bindi’s Season 21 win with Derek Hough.
“Bindi said, ‘Really lean into this and really savor every second,’” Robert told Page Six in the ballroom last Tuesday, when asked about the best “DWTS” advice he’s received from his sister. “She was here the whole time. She made it the whole three months. She won and said it went by in the blink of an eye.”
“Dancing With the Stars” returns next Tuesday for “Disney Night” at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with new episodes airing on Hulu the following day.
