Outlander: Blood of My Blood season one is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the penultimate episode leaving fans desperate for more, reports the Daily Record.

A tantalising trailer for the season one finale has been released, leaving viewers on tenterhooks.

Unfortunately, there will be a slight pause before the final episode airs, as confirmed by US network Starz.

The finale has been penned by Outlander author Diana Gabaldon and Matthew B. Roberts, the showrunner of both Outlander and Blood of My Blood, hinting at some dramatic twists that pay homage to the original historical drama series.

Read on to discover exactly when you can tune in to the Outlander: Blood of My Blood season one finale, titled Something Borrowed.

When will Blood of My Blood episode 10 be released?

Outlander: Blood of My Blood episode 10 will premiere in the USA on Starz on Friday, October 10 at midnight on the Starz app and at 8pm ET/PT on the cable channel.

Meanwhile, UK viewers will have to wait until Saturday, October 11 for the season one finale to be available on MGM+ via a Prime Video subscription.

Once the episode concludes, fans will have to be patient while season two is filmed in Scotland.

There’s no word yet on when season two will be released, but it seems it could be a while off.

In the meantime, it has been confirmed that Outlander season eight will make its debut in early 2026.

The final series will be based on Gabaldon’s 2021 novel Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, marking the ninth instalment in the Outlander book series.

Season eight will also incorporate material from an idea Gabaldon had for an alternate universe where Master Raymond (portrayed by Dominique Pinon) saves Faith Fraser.

The concluding season is also anticipated to provide an explanation about Jamie Fraser’s (Sam Heughan) ghost, who made an appearance in the very first episode of Outlander.

However, the show won’t utilise any material from Gabaldon’s 10th and final novel in her epic saga titled A Blessing For A Warrior Going Out, which signifies the literary end of the story.

The cast has already begun expressing their thoughts about the end of Outlander after working on the show for over a decade, as well as dropping hints about what viewers could expect from the last episodes.

Brianna MacKenzie star Sophie Skelton previously shared how she and her onscreen mother, played by Balfe, were left in various stages of grief while filming season eight.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood airs on Fridays on Starz in the USA and on Saturdays on MGM+ via Prime Video in the UK
