WASHINGTON Co., Ga. () – Early Friday morning, just after midnight, a Washington County Deputy patrolling the Davisboro area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no insurance and a suspended registration.
As deputies approached, they observed evidence suggesting a possible prison drop intended for Washington State Prison.
The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle. While complying, the driver dropped what appeared to be crack cocaine, according the Sheriff Joel Cochran.


Deputies secured the scene and conducted a search of the vehicle.
Authorities say their search revealed:
- 119 grams of methamphetamine
- 1,156 grams of loose tobacco
- 268 grams of marijuana
- Several cell phones
- Charging cables
- Cigar wraps
All the items were determined to be intended for delivery into Washington State Prison.

- – Possession of crack cocaine
Jarvis Smith, 56 of Lithonia
- – Possession with intent marijuana
- – Trafficking Methamphetmine
- – Trading with inmates tobacco
- – Trading with inmates cellphones
- – Trading with inmates Methamphetmine
- – Trading with inmates Marijuana
- – Possession of Methamphetmine
- – Possession of MDMA
- – Giving false name and writings (felony)
Jamal B. Moffat, 25 of Riverdale
