Prince Harry’s longtime stalker managed to come within feet of the duke on two separate occasions during his recent dash to the UK last month.
The Duke of Sussex recently returned to the UK for a brief four-day visit, during which a woman reportedly entered a “secure zone” at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. This location hosted the WellChild Awards on September 9, as reported by the Telegraph, although the woman’s identity is being kept confidential.
Mere days afterward, the same woman, believed to be dealing with mental health challenges, allegedly appeared near the “Spare” author at the Centre for Blast Injury Studies in west London, the report adds.
She previously brazenly followed the duke to Nigeria last May.
After a member of the Invictus Games founder’s inner circle immediately recognized, the woman was “body-blocked” from getting close to Harry.
Worries intensified upon the realization that there was no police presence at the event. This comes after the duke famously lost his appeal for taxpayer-funded UK security earlier in the year.
Harry’s security team worked in tandem with a private intelligence company to include the woman on a list of fixated individuals.
It’s said that she has a history of following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex all over the world, including during their trip to Abuja, Nigeria, last year.
The Post has reached out to Harry’s reps and Scotland Yard, responsible for policing much of London, for comment.
Harry’s UK dash saw him meet up with his estranged father, King Charles, for rumored peace talks.
The duke had not spoken to the royals in many months, with their rift only worsening after he had claimed he had been singled out for “unjustified and inferior treatment” when he and his family were stripped of their publicly funded security detail.
It’s understood that Charles felt uncomfortable seeing Harry during his court case against the UK government.
After the duke lost his appeal earlier this year, he told the BBC that his father “won’t speak to me because of this security stuff” — though he admitted he “would love to reconcile” with his family.
“Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has,” he said of Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer last year.
Notably missing from the reunion was Prince William, who has not spoken to Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, for years.
